I’m Andrew and I like to ride bicycles. It’s just something I’ve always done. I’m not a lycra clad gear fanatic. Nor a Strava warrior. Rather, I just enjoy the sensation of spinning my legs and taking in the scenery, whether urban, rural or wild.
I discovered randonneuring through the Audax Queensland cycling club in January 2013. I rode brevets for a year before life took me off traveling. Now, in May 2017 I am finally ready to return to the sport.
My randonneuring aspirations are modest. I am not aiming for any big rides. It’s just about enjoying time on two wheels and committing to staying at least moderately fit as I careen towards 40.
